At the Wenatchee Valley Humane Society, we like to recognize employees that stand out and go the extra mile for the animals! Please congratulate our Employees of the Month and appreciate all that they do for the animals at our shelter, boarding facility and in our community!

December 2008: Sarah - Animal Care Technician Sarah our December employee of the month has played a vital role in the success of Club Pet. Sarah is in fact the first person hired to work at Club Pet. Sarah’s commitment to the animals and success of Club Pet is untouchable. Sarah’s experience and organizational skills keep Club Pet at the top of its game. Clients appreciate her smiling face and the polite manner in which she handles their animals. Sarah has trained many of the employees and is even willing to do the hard tasks. Sarah has the notority of purchasing the first dog to reach the $1,000 mark at the Humane Society’s Annual Action for the Animals. Sarah may only be part time, but without her dedication to Club Pet, we would only be a shell of what we are!

November 2008: Kerry - Animal Control Field Officer
Kerry is a very dedicated employee with a true passion for animals. She is thorough in her investigations and she possesses excellent report writing skills. Kerry has a strong desire to further her education regarding cruelty investigations.
Kerry is a team player and willingly assists other officers and staff members when she sees a need. She also shares her heart and home as she serves as a frequent foster parent to both puppies and kittens. Kerry is dedicated to helping animals and assisting the public and she serves the Wenatchee Valley Humane Society very well as one of our officers.

October 2008: Rochelle – Animal Care Technician Club Pet Boarding Facility
Rochelle is a hard worker that strives to do her best. She usually arrives to work early and is ready to go. She is very good with the customers up front and has done a great job teaching Kristin the little things that have to get done on a regular basis. Team play is one of her strongest attributes and that is why she has been selected for the honor of October Employee of the Month.

September 2008: Liz - Animal Care Technician, Wenatchee Valley Humane Society Shelter
Liz is our Employee of the Month for September. Liz is a person who puts the needs of others before her own. She is always friendly and wears a smile that makes all of our days a little brighter. Liz is very sweet and kind with the animals, and treats them with patience and understanding.
