ANNUAL DINNER HELPS SUPPORT LOCAL PETS
WENATCHEE—The 4th annual Spay-ghetti and No Balls fundraiser dinner will be held Saturday, June 22rd, at scenic Blueberry Hills Farms in Manson. Join Wenatchee Valley Humane Society (WVHS), as it celebrates the spayed and neutered pets in our community and raises funds to help reach even more. Dinner features salad, garlic bread, two types of pasta, four different sauces, Blueberry Hills’ famous pie, ice cream from Whidbey Island Ice Cream and feature wines generously donated by Benson Vineyards in Chelan. There will also be a raffle with prizes that include a sky diving session from Sky Dive Chelan, a winery tour for two from Chelan Electric Bikes, and an overnight stay at Campbell’s Resort.
This event is made possible thanks to venue sponsor, Blueberry Hills Farms, wine sponsor, Benson Vineyards, co-presenting sponsors Hill’s Science Diet and Pet Stop of Eastern Washington, “The Dog Fence Experts”, and several supporting sponsors and donors.
Spay and neutering reduces unplanned litters and overcrowding of animal shelters. Altering a pet typically decreases the urge to roam which reduces the exposure to fighting with other animals, getting struck by cars, and other mishaps. Altered pets also have a reduced risk of certain types of cancers.
Proceeds from the event benefit WVHS’s Spay and Neuter fund. Tickets are $35 and are limited. They can be purchased at wenatcheehumane.org/spayghetti19 or in person at the shelter, 1474 S. Wenatchee Ave. in Wenatchee.
